Solvent Cookie and Local Storage Notice
Last updated: 26 June 2026 Operator: RHND Innovations GmbH
This notice explains how Solvent uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on the website and inside the application.
1. Our Approach
Solvent is a finance product, so we keep browser storage minimal. We separate:
- essential storage, which is required to provide the service and does not
require consent; and
- non-essential storage, which is used only where enabled and, where
required, only after consent.
2. Essential Storage
These items are necessary for login, security, routing or the service you requested.
| Item | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase authentication session | Keeps you signed in and verifies your session. | Cookie / local storage depending on Supabase flow |
cfo_active_org | Remembers the active company/entity context so the app opens the right workspace view. | Cookie |
| CSRF, OAuth state or security tokens | Protects forms, OAuth callbacks and sensitive actions. | Cookie / temporary browser storage |
| Cookie-consent preference | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. | Cookie / local storage |
| UI preferences needed for the service | Stores limited display choices such as active tabs or dismissed in-app banners where implemented. | Local storage |
Essential storage cannot be disabled while using the service because the app would not work securely without it.
3. Non-essential Storage
Solvent does not intentionally run non-essential tracking unless the required consent mechanism and provider disclosure are in place.
| Category | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Product analytics | Understand onboarding, feature adoption and product quality. | Only if enabled with the required consent/legal basis. |
| Error monitoring | Diagnose crashes and performance issues. | Only if enabled and listed here. |
| Marketing and attribution | Measure campaigns and website conversion. | Only with the required consent. |
| Embedded media or third-party widgets | Display external content or support tools. | Only if enabled and disclosed. |
When a non-essential provider is enabled, this notice should be updated with the provider name, purpose, expiry period and opt-out/withdrawal path.
4. Managing Choices
You can manage non-essential choices through the Solvent consent control where available. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
Blocking essential cookies or local storage may prevent login, organisation switching, billing, integrations or other application features from working.
5. Relationship to the Privacy Policy
Cookies and local storage may involve personal data such as identifiers, session metadata or device information. See the Privacy Policy for details on purposes, legal bases, recipients, transfers, retention and your rights.
